This summer has been great. Baltimore is a really great city, despite what you may have seen on HBO’s The Wire. (On a side note: Most everything you see in The Wire is absolutely accurate.)

Highlights of my time in Baltimore…let’s see…

I met Jennifer. My internship with the Associated Press was awesome. I stuffed myself on Chipotle crispy chicken tacos and chips at least once a week. (As a foodie, that’s almost a sin.) I had two really cool neighbors who sent me away with delicious homemade strawberry jam. I enjoyed being a half an hour away from D.C. And I loved that I could catch a bus to NYC and be there in less than four hours.

But they’ll be no more catching the bus up to New York for visits because that’s my next stop:

Harlem.
